The programme is built around recurring segments: People, on the creators and craftspeople who deserve to be known; Things, on the fine Japanese products still waiting to be discovered; and Places, on a Japan you have never seen before.

This time we look at the craftsmanship and the cooking handed down in Ningyocho, and at techniques passed from one generation to a single successor.
